THE CHALLENGE:
Additional storage required for non-essential items so that other general consumables could flow through their supply chain quickly.
OUR SOLUTION:
We turned on two outside storage support units close to their regional distribution centres.
THE OUTCOME:
Within a few days both sites were fully operational with approx. 1,000 pallets in additional warehouse space for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic.
NB – We have since been asked to identify an additional five new outside storage support sites across the UK.
